In Almanack, lessons are containers that bind all resources together, the one place you can go to view everything. A lesson contains:

  • a lesson plan

  • standards or curriculum that the the lesson is aligned to

  • learning objectives

  • resources such as slide decks, worksheets, quizzes and videos attached to that lesson.

This guide will walk you through the process to create a lesson in Almanack.

Creating a Single Lesson Manually

To begin crafting your lesson, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Lessons page
Log into your Almanack account and in the left sidebar, click on Lesson Planning > Lessons.

  2. Create a new lesson
Click on the New Lesson button. This will present you with the following box:

  3. Fill in Lesson Details
Type the course name and the lesson title. Click Create Lesson

Note: If this is the first time you're entering a specific course name, Almanack will present you with a form to create the course. If you have already used the course before, it will be available to select in the list. To see more details about creating a course, see How to create a course.
