In Almanack, courses are containers that bind units and lessons together. When you're designing a new curriculum or creating a long-range (or yearly plan), you will probably want to create a course and populate it with units and lessons.
This guide will walk you through the process to create a course in Almanack.
How to create a course in Almanack
To begin crafting your course, follow these steps:
- Go to the Courses page 
 Log into your Almanack account and in the left sidebar, click on Lesson Planning > Courses.
 
 
 
- Click the "Add a Course" button 
- Fill in Course Details 
 Type the course name and grade level
 
- (Optional) Align the course to an international curriculum or US state standards 
 If you'd like to align the generated content to a curriculum or state standards, turn on the Align to an international curriculum or state standards switch. Then type in your curriculum or standards set name.
 
- Click "Add" - Once you're done with the form, click the Add button to create the course.
