In Almanack, courses are containers that bind units and lessons together. When you're designing a new curriculum or creating a long-range (or yearly plan), you will probably want to create a course and populate it with units and lessons.

This guide will walk you through the process to create a course in Almanack.

How to create a course in Almanack

To begin crafting your course, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Courses page
Log into your Almanack account and in the left sidebar, click on Lesson Planning > Courses.

  2. Click the "Add a Course" button

  3. Fill in Course Details
Type the course name and grade level

  4. (Optional) Align the course to an international curriculum or US state standards
If you'd like to align the generated content to a curriculum or state standards, turn on the Align to an international curriculum or state standards switch. Then type in your curriculum or standards set name.

  5. Click "Add"

Once you're done with the form, click the Add button to create the course.
