To create a new slide deck, follow the below steps:

  1. Click on the "EduSlides" tab on the left side menu

  2. The slide deck creation page is displayed

  3. Select a Course name from the Course drop down list field or type a new Course name and hit Enter button on your keyboard

  4. Select a Lesson name from the Lesson drop down list field or type a new Lesson name and hit Enter button on your keyboard

  5. Select the option "A file from Almanack" in the field "What should it be based on?"

  6. An "Select File" button to Upload file is displayed

  7. Click on the "Select File" button

  8. A pop up is displayed with a "Browse" button to browse the file.

    Click on the "Browse" button & browse a file from your local computer

  9. The file gets uploaded and displayed on the pop up.

    Click on the "Upload file" button

  10. The Next button gets enabled

  11. Click on the Next button. The Slide Deck Outline gets generated automatically by Almanack AI

  12. Verify the Slide Deck Outline, if the outline looks good, click on the Create button. Upon clicking the Create button, the Almanack AI starts generating the Slide Deck on the right side.

  13. Once the Slide deck is completely generated, check the slides by using the scroll bar. If the slide deck looks good. Click on the "Looks Good: Open in Editor" button

  14. On clicking the "Looks Good: Open in Editor" button, the slide deck page is opened. You are allowed to edit the slide deck.

  15. If you want to change the content of the slide deck generated by AI in step 9, click on the Regenerate button to regenerate the slide deck.

  16. On clicking Regenerate button, the slide deck gets re-generated and user can click on the "Looks Good: Open in Editor" button.

  17. If you go back to the Lesson, the newly created Resource is displayed in the Resources section
